Rotation technology is a suitable technology to produce complex and unit forms. Since the cost of mould is more reasonable when compared with injection, vebriage and etc.technologies, it is an exclusive technology that can be applied in plastic production.

Metal Sheet Rotation Moulds

These moulds are the moulds made by giving shape to HRP metal sheets of 2,5 – 3mm. thickness. These are especially prefered in production of big products (such as water depot). Their advantage is the reasonability of the costs of moulds. However since they are made by mostly by hand and they are mounted by boiling of the metal sheets, exact mould measure and perfect surface quality is not obtained. It is suitable to use steel moulds in pruducts that doesn’t require perfect surface quality and exact mould measurements.    

Aluminium Rotation Moulds

Though more expensive when compared to steel moulds it is a technique that provide perfect surface quality and exact mould measurement tolerance. Aluminium moulds may be made in various shapes. Making mould by treating Aluminium log on CNC benches provides perfect surface quality and ± 0.1mm of mould measure accuracy. Wood and polyester models of the product is avilable and it can be made with the aluminium casting method and if exact measure is requested excelsior is removed from the casted surface on the CNC.  

Consequently the size and the quality of the surface is the factor that determine the method with which the mould should be made.
